By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, May20: Journalist Aastha KC’s book titled ‘Janyuddhaka Chithi’ has been released.
Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Unified Socialist Party chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal jointly released the book in an event held at Parisdanda, the headquarters of Maoist Centre, on Saturday.
At the age of 15, KC, who was involved in the Maoist people’s revolution, collected 150 letters received during the ‘people’s war’ and published them in the form of a book.
The party circulars and other letters received from fellow warriors, families and leaders have been included in the book.
The then Gulmi District President of All Nepal Women’s Association KC spent six years underground in Gulmi district.
At the function, author KC said these letters would help understand the civil war environment of that time.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ congratulated KC for the book.
