Rizal injured by wild elephant attack

Mechinagar. Gopal Rizal of Mechinagar Municipality-2 Bahundangi was injured in an attack by a wild elephant in Jhapa.

He went to the forest to cut grass and was attacked by an elephant and seriously injured. Meghraj Rai, Head of Division Forest Office, Jhapa, said that the injured are being treated at Band C Hospital in birtamod.

According to Deepak Baral, chairman of Ward No. 2, he is currently being treated in the intensive care unit. Seven ribs and right arm of the injured Rizal’s body are broken and water has accumulated in his lungs
