Mechinagar. After the grandfather and granddaughter died on the spot due to the collision of the night bus, the angry people set fire to the police station in Kerkha market.
Locals set fire to the police station in front of the Ratuwamai tree plantation project. They are blocking the east-west highway by burning tires on the road. A grandfather and a granddaughter died on the spot when a night bus going from Kakdavitta to Kathmandu hit an electric bicycle in Kerkha of Kamal Rural Municipality.
The deceased grandfather and granddaughter belong to Kamal 3. Manoj Limbu’s 12-year-old daughter Kripa Limbu and her grandfather have died. Today is the girl’s birthday and to celebrate her birthday, the grandfather went to celebrate her birthday with her granddaughter. The grandfather and granddaughter were returning on their electric bicycles after taking birthday cake and meat when the night bus hit them. Birthday cakes and meat are strewn all over the road and an electric bicycle is damaged.
