Speaker of Koshi Province, Ambar Bahadur Bista, has taken oath. Bista, who was elected as the Speaker of the Provincial Assembly on Tuesday, took the oath of office and secrecy from the Provincial Chief Parashuram Khapung.
Bista, a member of proportional representation of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party, became the Speaker with the support of the ruling coalition party and the CPN-UML.
Chief Minister Kedar Karki, Deputy Speaker Srijana Danuwar and others were present at the swearing-in ceremony of the Speaker.
