Let’s not focus on what Kathmandu did – Ram Karki

Mechinagar. CPN Maoist Center Secretary Ram Karki ‘Parth’ has said that the Maoist party is tired due to various reasons and it is necessary to rebuild it.

Leader Karki said this while addressing the completion of the Maoist transformation campaign and the forest feast organized by the Maoist Center Mechinagar Committee at the tourist spot Mini Mountain on Saturday. “We are very tired,” he said, “if we don’t continue to walk, the movement for change will die.”

Karki, who is considered to be a strong leader within the Maoists, alleged that because of our own leaders, the Maoists have become a party like the Congress and the UML. He warned that if people do not fight for change, they will form a new party.

Leader Karki said that the change should start from oneself. “Let’s not focus on what Kathmandu did,” said Karki, who is also the former Minister of Communications. Change is definitely possible. He emphasized that everything should be done to establish the identity of local needs.

Leader Karki, who created the image of an intellectual leader, also suggested that he should be dedicated to work. “If we can focus on eight hours of rest and eight hours of work, the family and society will become themselves,” he said.

Chairman of the city committee of the Maoist center, Rajan Chimaria, honored the old communist warriors in the program. Two dozen warriors who have guided the communist movement so far have been honored by wearing tracksuits, dosallas and caps. Likewise, the martyr’s family was also honored.

Maoist Center Mechinagar co-in-charge Panita Adhikari welcomed and Mechinagar Secretary Gyanendra Ghimire conducted the program, Central Member of Maoist Center and State MP Gongbu Sherpa gave a speech.
Raju Acharya, district coordinator of Maoist center, district committee member, district member, regional committee in-charge and others were present in the program. All the participants in the program were served a forest feast.
