The process to appoint new Prime Minister began on Friday after Prime Minister Prachanda’s vote of confidence proposal was rejected.

Now, Congress and UML are working on forming a small cabinet.
UML leader Pradeep Gyawali informed that President Paudel would appoint KP Sharma Oli as the new Prime Minister on Sunday evening. “We are finalising the list of ministries and ministers. We have discussed with Nepali Congress to form the government in a single go instead of appointing the ministers in instalments,” said Gyawali.
