By A Staff Reporter, Lalitpur, Aug. 2: Deepmala Dhakal was crowned Miss Nepal World 2026 amid a grand finale held in Pulchowk, Lalitpur on Saturday.
At the same event, Kashis Subba won the title of Miss Nepal Cosmo 2026, while Arya Nishaant was crowned Miss Nepal International 2026.
Dhakal emerged victorious after outperforming 23 finalists in one of Nepal’s most prestigious
beauty pageants, organised by The Hidden Treasure. She will now represent Nepal at the Miss World international pageant.
Prior to winning the national title, Dhakal had earned recognition as Miss Nepal Hong Kong International 2026.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, she is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong and has worked as an investment strategist.
Following her coronation, Miss Nepal Dhakal expressed gratitude to the organisers, judges, supporters, and her family, saying the crown carries a great responsibility.
Twenty-four-year-old Deepmala said her mother has been her biggest inspiration. Her mother had taken part in the first Miss Nepal pageant in 1994.
Deepmala works as an investment strategist at BlackRock. She is also a taekwondo black belt holder, a marathon runner, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics.
