kakarvitta- An agreement regarding eye treatment has been signed between Bahundangi JCs and Kakarvitta Eye Hospital.
According to the agreement, JC members will get free eye treatment. Under which there will be free OPD, 50% discount on surgery and 10% discount on spectacles for working committee members and ex-chairmen.
In the agreement reached in the hall of the hospital on Sunday, it is mentioned that the club should facilitate free eye examination in at least 10 public schools and orientation programs in 5 schools.
The agreement was signed by the president Debu Baniya on behalf of Bahundangi Jaycees and director Mohan Niraula on behalf of the hospital.
Speaking after the agreement, hospital director Niraula said that the agreement was made with Jaycees as part of the social responsibility of the hospital. He promised to recommend to anyone who is deprived of eye treatment due to lack of finances and to provide free treatment to such people.
President Baniya expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the hospital for his members and JC staff.
Medical Director of the hospital Aman Kumar Gupta, Managing Director Yogendrajit Shahi, former President of Bahundangi JCs Sagar Karki, President of Press Club Mechinagar Dumbar Baral, Board officials of Bahundangi JCs and others were present on the occasion.
