Mechinagar. A woman has died due to cold in Jhapa. Police said that the identity of the deceased woman has not been revealed. His body is said to be in the provincial hospital Bhadrapur. In Mechinagar Municipality-10, the woman, who had fainted due to cold, was rescued and taken to the hospital.
Locals saw the woman, about 30 years old, who was begging, walking in the cold around Dhaijan Dhat for a few days. Ward member Vishal Karki rescued the woman with the help of the police and took her to the provincial hospital in Bhadrapur. According to the police, the woman died in the emergency room during treatment.
