Cooch Behar: The Gandhi Sankalp Yatra under the initiative of BJP, kickstarted in the entire state as well as in Cooch Behar district, from today.
Gandhi Sankalp Yatra was started by Nishith Pramanik, MP of Cooch Behar Lok Sabha Center, in front of Chakchaka Shilpakendra of Cooch Behar North Assembly. Coochbehar District BJP President Malti Rabha Roy and other leaders of the district were also present on this occasion.
Coochbehar District BJP President Malti Rabha Roy stated that the event will run till October 26th. 15 kilometers of padayatra will be conducted to reach the people in different areas of 11 assembly constituencies, every day.
Meanwhile, MP Nishith Pramanik stated that amid the unrest spread in the Cooch Behar district, they will conduct the padayatra to reach the people with the message of peace.siliguritimes/from
