Alipurduar, india: The Kumargram Police launched a campaign in the Pakriguri checkpost along the Assam-Bangladesh border and recovered Rs 17 lakh from a vehicle. Two individuals, identified as residents of Assam, have also been arrested in connection with the incident, while, the vehicle has also been seized.
Based on a tip-off, the Police stopped a vehicle at the Pakriguri checkpost and recovered the money during the vehicle search, on Saturday. Both the accused arrested will be presented at the Alipurduar Court, on Sunday.
