
People crowd in Siliguri Mahabirsthan area ignoring lockdown
Siliguri, 30th April: Despite repeated reminders to stay home and not to come out on the streets unnecessarily, there have been several complaints of people gathering at various corners around Siliguri deliberately violating the lockdown.
As per the report, huge crowds were spotted in the Siliguri Mahabirsthan area without maintaining social distance. Several e-rickshaws (Toto), autos, and two-wheelers were also sighted on the streets today.

Cooch Behar, 30th April: The Tufanganj Sub-divisional Left Front Committee under Cooch Behar district, on Thursday, staged a symbolic protest against the State Government.
As per the reports, the demonstration was staged accusing the State government of “hiding” the seriousness of the coronavirus crisis in the state by reducing the figure of the total positive cases and also exposed the huge scam being carried out in ration supply.
Rishi Kapoor passes away at 67 after long battle with cancer

Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away at a private hospital in Mumbai, early Thursday morning, after a two-year battle with leukemia.
The 67-year-old actor was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday after he was not keeping well. The doctors and medical staff at the hospital said he kept them entertained to the last.
Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 following which he was in New York for nearly a year to undergo treatment. He returned to India in September last year.siliguritimes/from,india
