
Mechinagar. This year’s D Kaudinya Journalism Award has been awarded jointly to Jhapa journalists Jhulan Regmi and Dikesh Lama.
Regmi and Lama were awarded the Di Kaudinya Journalism Award with cash during a program held today in Birtamode. The prize money is 21 thousand rupees.
The chief guests of the program were Indra Angbo, Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning of Koshi Province, Vivek Gautam, Central Vice President of the Press Center, Yamuna Acharya, Kaudinya’s wife, and others distributed the awards.
Press Center Nepal Jhapa established the award in memory of people’s party journalist Dev Kumar Acharya (D Kaudinya).

Regmi is the editor-in-chief of Mechikhabar weekly and the outgoing president of Press Center Jhapa. Lama is Jhapa Correspondent of Nepal Television, Member of Press Center Koshi Province and Secretary of Jhapa Branch of Federation of Journalists.
