Mechinagar. Mechinagar of Jhapa-14 Bal Subodhini Secondary School in Duhagarhi honored Ambika Basnet as the best mother of the year.Basnet was jointly honored by Meena Upreti, Deputy Chief of Mechinagar Municipality, and Mechinagar-14 Ward President Babulal Subba and Education Officer Pabitra Dhakal as special guests during the mother’s gathering held at the school on Thursday.
In the meeting presided over by the senior member of the school management committee, Sankarlal Rajwanshi, the principal Bishwa Thapa explained about the activities of the school.
In the program, special guests Dhakal, Subba and chief guest Uprati discussed about the contribution of mothers in improving the quality of education.The program conducted by teacher Padam Prasad Mishra was welcomed by Lokeshwar Chaudhary, a member of the school management committee.
